SP (Emuël) Kok is the founding member of GeoBuro, a consultancy firm specialising in engineering geological investigations. At present the majority of work is dolomite stability investigations and risk management on areas underlain by dolomite. Investigations for township establishment, foundation design and environmental investigations are also conducted. These include investigations for cemetery sites, bridge foundation investigations, suitability of construction materials and the rehabilitation of damaged structures.
